The Project Management team at the Cambridge Science Park has over thirty years' experience of advising Research and Development companies on the property aspect of their business plans. Property types
Cambridge Science Park provides a broad spectrum of property. There is a total of over 1,300,000 sq ft of accommodation divided into units of all sizes. At the smaller end there are office and laboratory buildings of 1,500 sq ft, while the largest buildings are 50,000 sq ft.

The Cambridge Science Park accommodates companies across the very widest range of research activities. A brief selection of current occupiers includes the life sciences, telecommunications, forensic accident investigation, photonics, terahertz technology, computer hardware and holographic data transfer.

To accommodate these companies the Cambridge Science Park provides every variety of buildings necessary to support the relevant research activities. Our buildings house:

• clean rooms
• biology and chemistry laboratories
• laser tables
• robots
• high capacity server suites
• offices

Lease terms
Buildings at the Cambridge Science Park are available for lease on terms that reflect their particular specifications and the size of the premises. Typically, smaller buildings for 'start up' companies are available on shorter leases of between 3 and 5 years; this lease term is usually welcomed by young companies since it often reflects the longevity of the initial Business Plan.

The larger, more specialised buildings are available on leases of 10, 15 and 20 years. The exact term will depend on a number of factors, including the specification, although every effort will be made to provide the occupier with the security they need.
